Notification for Registration

  1. Registration ID Acquisition
    • A unique ID must be obtained by registering for completing Registration Form and Hotel and Tour Reservation Form.
    • Please write down the Registration ID and use the Registration ID in all communications about your Registration.
    • Please mail/email/fax the registration fee bank transfer copy together with the Registration Form / Hotel and Tour Reservation to the conference. Please see section 9 for the contact information.

  4. Registration for Paper(s)
    • For paper registration, the registrant should be the paper author.
    • Maximum 2 papers can be registered with one Registration ID.
    • No additional conference registration is required for the paper registrant.

    1. Paper Registration for IEEE/IET Member Delegate and Non Member Delegate
      • Registration fee includes conference kit, admission to the conference sessions, reception cocktail on 6th April, conference banquet on 8th April, dinners on 7th and 9th April, teas during the breaks, breakfast on 7 -10 April, lunches on 7-9 April and 1 set of the Conference Proceedings in CD-ROM.
      • Presenting their IEEE/IET Member numbers, the delegates will be offered special discount for registration.
      • 50% discount will be offered to the second paper.

    2. Paper Registration for Student Delegate
      • Registration fee includes conference kit, admission to the conference sessions, dinners on 7th and 9th April, tea during the breaks, breakfasts on 7-10 April, lunches on 7-9 April and 1 set of the Conference Proceedings in CD-ROM.
      • Student MUST be the first author of the paper to acquire the favourable rates for student.
      • Student registrants are required to present a valid student ID for verification at the reception.

  5. Conference Registration
    • Non-paper scholars are welcomed to register for taking part in discussions as well.

  7. Others

    • Please check the website http://www.drpt2008.com/Conf/ConProgram.php for the conference schedule updates.
    • Only registered paper will be released for publication in the DRPT 2008 IEEE International Conference Proceedings and scheduled for presentation in an oral session or a poster.
    • The breakfast, lunch, dinner tickets can be purchased at the rates of RMB 30, 60 and 60 respectively at the site.
    • The tickets for the reception cocktail (RMB 200) on 6th April and conference banquet (RMB 300) on 8th April can be purchased during the conference
    • Registration Fee for paper cannot be refunded.

  8. Rules for Refund
    • A written notification for cancellation is required in case that the registration is confirmed.
    • If the cancellation is made on or before March 31, 2008, 10% of the payment received will be charged as liaison fee.
    • No Refund for the cancellation made after March 31, 2008.
    • Registration Fee for paper cannot be refunded.
    • Refund will be processed after the conference.

      • If you pay in US$, transaction will be processed in terms of the exchange rate of your check-in day. Exchange rate is about RMB 7.0-7.4 for US$ 1.

    3. Reservation Notification
      • Deposit is not required. The favorable prices can be acquired only by making the reservation with the conference service.
      • Please make the room reservation as early as possible since it is the tourism season during the conference. The room reservation will be processed based on "first come first served"
      • A notification email will be sent to you for your successful reservation. At the conference reception, show the printed copy of the notification email to get the room reservation number for your check in at the hotel reception.

    4. Reservation Cancellation

      Cancellation should be made on or before March 12, 2008. After that, one night price of each room will be charged. Payment refers to 3rd clause of the Registration Notification.
